I like the name the Zahli, what do you ladies think of that? I think it flows nicely with DD1's name. Ella & Zahli, stop fighting! - Yep could hear myself saying that over and over again

We had a Zali at school who was really lovely so I like the name, I also like it without the "h".

I love it too by my DH is adamant it would have to be Charlotte or choose another name ( I actually prefer just Lottie on its own!) arrggggh Men!
LOOOOOOOOOVE Charlotte! (My little girl's name)

How about Ann or Annie? Liz? I know that's short for Elizabeth but some people use on its own.

I wanted Chloe but DP didn't like and we both had to like it as I figure he contributed 50%

I really like Zali too, our DD was going to be Zali until about 2 weeks before she arrived, and DH came up with Tahli (we called her Tahlia, and she gets Tahli for short). Funny thing was, I had suggested Tahli at the very beginning, and DH had said no way, and then forgotten about it, and at the end of the pregnancy spotted a Tahli on TV and suggested it! I let him think he thought of it..... .

Actually same thing happened with DS Noah this year. I have always loved Noah, and DH said no way, until he was reading the paper one day, and Noah was the 10th most popular name in Vic last year, and as DH has worn number 10 on his footy jumper, he suddenly decided he loved it, and Noah it was going to be.....Men, so fickle!

I am biased but Tori is a great short girls name I really love the name Lucy too, and have been tossing it around as a name if when we have #3 its a girl. This is a great thread for me to keep my eye on, as we like short names too.

    Chloe - Clo
Brooke - hmmmm this one passed the test!!

Thanks for all your input lovely ladies

We've narrowed it down to 4 names - I mean if we have a boy they all become moot, but we've had the boys name picked out for about 4 years!

    The four girls names are

    Zahli Rose
    Ava Hope
    Zoe Eden
    Zara Kaitlyn

As you can see i like the names starting with a "Z"
