umm seeing i'm the Post-It-Gal i wasn't sure if i was allowed in here but then i thought ah what the heck, so here's my 2cents worth but of course i won't hold it against you if you don't like 'em, lol

... i love the name Hope, can you use Hope as a first name ?? My DD's BF is a Hope and she gets lots of comments on her name, i have to say i always get a nice tingle when i say i her name, i think cause it holds great meaning to so many of us

aww Smiley OF COURSE you can contribute!!! - See, i like Hope as a first name, but DH not so sold on the idea (im still working on him though!! ) - My list is looking much healthier now (4 names i *like*) so i'll just keep searching, searching, searching, and coming back here to check out suggestions!!

i meant to ask before so other's know too, i know might sound crazy but what do you regard as a short name ? ... eg, less than 6 or 5 or 4 letters ??

hehe...guess i should clarify! - DD has a short name that is two syllables (Ella) so we are looking for somthing in similar length, probably no longer than 5-6 letters, and preferably two syllables as well (gee, i don't want much do i? ). not keen on giving a long name (eg Charlotte) then shortening it to "Charlie".
