So So Frustrated at the name game with 7 days to go!!!

We cannot agree on a name, not one, we did have one picked but something made me change my mind.

I have one picked that im super totally madly in love with, he isnt against it BUT thinks thats its just a bit out there and that he will get picked on at school, its nothing that crazy not in my mind anyway I have heard way way worse at my daughters school so I dont see the issue.

With DS we agreed on one name and one name only hence why he got it lol. Dh has chosen DD2 and DS's name so my argument is its my turn right? Am I right or am I being selfish?

So my horrible evil plan is to get him when hes emotional then he might let me call this baby what I want to call him, how nasty is that?

Im booked in for my ceaser next Wednesday and im getting terribly annoyed at not having a name!!

My mum has always said that the minute the baby arrives you look up at your husband and say "darling, I want to call him X" and they can't say know. Maybe cry a little bit too.

I'm not recommending this per we just sharing my mothers message LOL!

What kind of names do you want?

funny!! do you think your DH is right in some-way that the name might be targeted for getting picked on though?

Now I want to know what the name is.......TELLLLLL! Joking! You don't have to, but it might help if a few other people hear it, then tell you what they think (not that you should really care) but just so then you can tell your DH for certain that it's all in his head

We called our son Aidan and someone said to me, "Oh the worst he'll get is GAY-DEN" WTH? I hadn't even thought of it, but it didn't put me off.....what kind of Lame-o would call someone that? Your DH is probably just needing reassurance....naming Boys can be hard.

I find boys the worst to find a name for.

Our DS's name (Oscar) is the only name we agreed on other than Ayrton which i worried people would think he was saying Anton and i know myself how frustrating it is when people don't get your name right.

But we got all sorts of comments, people said "he will get called Oscar the grouch" and i just said back "that's fine! i hope he is a grouch!" and yeah well he is so it suits!!

I've had a mchn say that its a hippy name...uhh wth!? but a lot of the oldies love it especially since we kept the traditional spelling.

I'm sure whatever name you have picked out is perfect

Fair enough i'm sure it's all good. People tend to overreact especially if it's unusual. You'll find people will comment either way - just give them the ol'
