Try looking at some names from either of your ethnic roots, maybe. I've found some that way that I really like and aren't too common.
Here's a few suggestions off the top of my head of names that I liked, but my DH wasn't wild about. Somebody should use 'em.
Girls:
Keziah (Bible name also, but uncommon - one of Job's daughters)
Talitha (Bible again - I think it's Aramaic for "little girl") BTW - I would pronounce it tah-LEETH-ah. You could also do TAH-lith-ah
When we named our son we were also looking for something traditional (with traditional spelling) but not common. We settled on Orlando and love it. Nickname Lando which is also kinda cool as in Lando in Starwars. We have another boy on the way and trying to find another name which fits the same criteria. It's great to see all the suggestions in this post! Goodluck.
Elodie (Ellie for short)
Blossom (was very popular in the 1930's!)
