    Sonic???

Hi ladies so Im only 13w but I hate thinking of names, bubs has been nicknamed "Sonic" since our (DS almost 4) was told about his little bro or sis he called it sonic, now that I have been telling people they all love the name for a boy. What do you think? For what its worth Mika is DS name its finnish for michael as my Dh is finnish.
Im really confused in case he gets Nick for short I will have a Mick and a Nick...

It is not a name I personally would ever use for my child.

If you love Sonic the hedgehog it's a great tribute. Maybe you could call the next one Mario.

Sonique is fabulous but her real name is Sonia and I'm not sure that you can get away with Sonique if you're not prepared to rock a pair of gold tights.

My mum even told me she likes the name, i think these replies should be enough to convience my DH not to use the above name.

I think of Mario and Sonic...not something I would like. I think Mario and Sonic are going to be around for a loooong time as well.

    Sonic the hedgehog for sure...

But it's an awesome nickname! You can keep it for that purpose.

    How about Stephan?

Actually when I first typed that my phone wrote Stepan, which is quite cool too. Works with Mika as a foreign name that's easy to pronounce.

I'd use it as a nickname too - we called bubs Peanut while we waited to meet her. We still use it now, although sometimes I also use a variation - while I was in hospital bring induced my mum joked to my dad that she wondered if our baby (we didn't find out gender) would be born with peanuts or no nuts! So I occasionally use 'no nuts' for DD
