    I totally agree with Aimz, I think one 's' is more masculine looking. Having said that, I like either. Nice name!

    I thought that one 's' was more masculine too but there is also the point regarding the pronounciation (A-less-io).

    Mad Scientist - I like Dante too but DH doesn't like it and it is now on one of my friends' list.

    We have a mate called Alessio, so i would vote for it that way.

    Our other little boy, who is 8, has a very English sounding name (blame me, I'm the Pommie ) He is Zachary. My dh is an Ozzie but his family are originally from Italy, so we decided to honor his families heritage.
    We also liked, Dante, Rafael, Stefano, Alessandro, Benito, Luca, Nico and Jacomo.
