I totally agree with Aimz, I think one 's' is more masculine looking. Having said that, I like either. Nice name!
I thought that one 's' was more masculine too but there is also the point regarding the pronounciation (A-less-io).
Mad Scientist - I like Dante too but DH doesn't like it and it is now on one of my friends' list.
We have a mate called Alessio, so i would vote for it that way.
Our other little boy, who is 8, has a very English sounding name (blame me, I'm the Pommie) He is Zachary. My dh is an Ozzie but his family are originally from Italy, so we decided to honor his families heritage.
We also liked, Dante, Rafael, Stefano, Alessandro, Benito, Luca, Nico and Jacomo.
