My best friend is Bianca pronounced Be-unka, which I think it the correct way to pronounce it anyway. She gets so angry when people pronounce it Be-Anka. I just call her Biancs lol.

Wow there are some tricky ones there!! Some of the Irish Names sound sooooooo pretty but due to the difficulty pronouncing them from the spelling, I'm probably just spell them as they sounded - Still unique!!
My name is pronounced "Ah-lee-see-ah" not "A-leesh-a" as I get called by people who have only read my name... I also get "Ah-liss-ee-ah"
That Chloe sh-low one got me!! Why not just spell it as it sounds?? Or perhaps some parents got namers remorse and decided to make the name more unique by changing the pronunciation? Might just be making the childs life more difficult if you did it that way perhaps? I have a friend who spelt her daughters name "Kloey" at least you can't get that wrong??
I don't think many people enjoy hearing their name pronounced incorrectly!! I don't hate it or love it, doesn't worry me tooooo much but really, it's your name, something so personal that you just want people to get it right! Especially after you've already introduced yourself as Ah-lee-see-ah and they still call you A-leesh-a!!
