    Stuck on names...

    Hi Everyone,

As we are in our third trimester with our second bub, Hubba and I thought it best be time to start picking our names and we are not having much luck. We have no idea what the sex will be this time around and surname is Brown - not too keen on 'B' names with that one.

We had our first bub's name picked out very early last time - Lyla Grace.

Please help us shorten our list!!!!!!

Girl's Names - Keen, but not set on Jean or May for a middle name (after Hubba's Granny)
    Amelie
    Seraphine
    Ruby
    Scarlette

Boy's Names- Keen, but not set on William or Henry for a middle name (after Hubba's G'dad)
    Harper
    August
    Flynn
    Eli or Elijah

    Thanks so much!

Jean or May for a middle names is nice. Maybe I like them because I have aunts with these names.

With Scarlette it could be Scarlotte (Charlotte)
    Seraphine could be Seraphina

I like Flynn & Eli as I know boys by these names who are lovely kids. And I quite like Harper.

Picking out names can be the hardest task during pregnancy so all the best as you decide.

I like them all, particularly Amelie and Flynn. However I think that all your favoured names go really well together as middle names....
    Amelie Seraphine
    Amelie Ruby
    Flynn Eli

I really like August. Doesn't go with our surname, so thrilled that someone else out there is using it! August William is a great little Combo.
Seraphine and Scarlett are my girls' picks. I don't love Ruby with Brown. Seraphine Jean is probably not going to work for you, the rhymey rhyme is a bit too cutesy. Scarlett Jean is sweet though.

    Hi Ladies,

Thank you so much for your feedback! It's reassuring to know that the names are liked LOL

Rivlas - We actually derived Scarlett from Charlotte (I loved Charlie for a girl) but Hubba wasn't too keen on 'Charlie Brown'

snugglybean - I completely agree with 'Seraphine Jean' too rhymey.

on that note: Is 'Amelie Jean' too 'french' sounding? and 'Amelie May (Mae)' a little too, well hillbillyish?
