    Thoughts on...

...Milo as a boys name. Love it? Hate it? Think of Milo and Otis? The drink?

So far this is the only name that we seem to like for a boy but wondering others thoughts. Any other suggestions?

Daughter's name is Imogen and our girls list so far is Daphne, Violet and Everleigh if that helps.

I know a little guy who's actual name is Mathias, but he gets called Milo - it really suits him and is cute - but as a proper name for a grown up, not really sure.

I think it sounds nice, but if I heard it I would assume it was a nickname. Not that thats bad, just how it feels to me

I really like it. I'm sure one of the girls on here has a Milo. It was the first time I'd heard it used when she did, and I loved it.

I think it's a really cute name. Unlike most 'little boy' names, I can see this suiting a man too, most of these types of names, a man version isn't very workable, but I can totally see a very nice man-Milo

Course you can, Everleigh is up for grabs, didn't invent it it is a really nice name, not sure it goes well with Imogen so have been leaning towards Violet lately but we will see! Also starting to go back towards Abigail... finding I love too many female names, complete opposite problem with male names.

I do really love Milo. I knew one ages ago (similar age to me) so it just kinda came to me when I was thinking about names and at first I couldn't stop thinking about Milo and Otis but as we talked about it more, thought about it more... all I can think about now is a son. I remember with Imogen I sorta thought maybe I once knew an Imogen but soon as DD was Imogen, she was the only Imogen that came to mind and now I'm not even positive I ever did know an Imogen, can't picture one or figure out where we would have crossed paths... weird that haha.

To me it does sound like more of a nickname than anything else, all other associations aside. But not really a reason not to use it if you really like it - I know I've heard it used by grown men as well.
