I know a Lani (but she spells it Larni) and a Liani (lee-ah-nee)

I like Lani Neve, it's a pretty name

Thanks for all your thoughts everyone!

I think Lani has hit the top of the list, especially as DD has been going around saying it is going to be Elijah for a boy, and Lani for a Girl...I love the ways she says both names, and it has stuck in my head now...more than Amali had. and DH really likes it too... nice to feel a bit sorted name wise!

All of the names you have are so beautiful and feminine. Also I have a friend who has a daughter 'Lilarni' and she gets 'Lani' or 'Lil' for short, theres another option

My friends Niece is a Lani but its spelt "Larni" and her middle name is Winter.

I think its a very pretty name and I like "Lani Ava" the best.

Also really love your other two names! Amali and Emmerson are on our list but I can't get DH onto Amali - he doesnt like it lol

Haha I think it's a great name! Lol. But be warned, people will call her laney. People always pronounce my name that way and it drives me mental. I don't like the spelling of Larni tho, makes it sound harsh. Lahni or lahnee is probably closer to how it's actually pronounced (well how mine is pronounced).

Oh and my middle name is Melissa. Although not a name I like, I think it flows nicely so I wouldn't rule out a two (or more) syllable middle name.
