mmm more like si-e-li
I like the name Dante too - but we have someone in the family who is connected to someone with that name...iykwim - so we cant use it.
If your into Xanthe for a girl, a boy equivilant (though I think is not the same meaning) is Xanti.
Dont worry too much what people think, choose names that you and your DH like cause in the end names that people consider unusual will always raise eyebrow to begin with, but they get use to it after a while.
I'm with you guys, I don't care what others think! I'd rather an original / unusual name than a boring one, LOL.
I like Xander / Xavier but it is becoming incredibly popular so I don't think we would go that way. Plus we have a nephew Zanda.
Dante or Donte? hmmm
What middle name goes with Dante? Dante Theodore? Theodore is more of an old classic than original though. Ahh so hard!
Hmm..
Dante Jack
Dante Blu
Dante Xavier
I like the spelling of Dante. I also like the idea of pairing it with a traditional name.
Dante Theodore is just TOOOO CUTE! It's also a name that would grow well with him!
Hi all,
Our daughters name is Aliyah pronounced A-leah.Her middle name is Christine like the car.It sounds pretty together. We got it from the US R&B singer who died in a plane crash some years back although she spelt hers with a double A.
Its Arabic and it means highly exalted
I like Silas and Zane as Boys names

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this name!!!!!!!!Anakie Grace for a girl
HAHAHA - Yeah everyone asks if I got the name from there - even though I've never seen any of the movies
Its actually the name of a small town near Geelong![]()
I always LOVED the name Avalon and I was so sure I would have an Avalon Rose for my daughter. But then everyone who I said it to said it reminded them of the airport. And DH said it reminds him of the Toyota. I still love it though!
I have just fallen in love with Dusk for a girl and Finlay for a boy, i don't think DF will be as keen though. He's more into traditional "strong" names. We have Jackson lined up for a boy and Sianna/Sienna for girl, although neither of them are set in stone yet because we now we'll change our minds a 100 times by the time bub gets here!
