    I think it's a beautiful name- but why not just choose Ari if you already plan on using it as a nickname?

    I think it's an elegant name, lovely. I also prefer Ari for short!

    I love Aria, that is on our shortlist as a nickname for the name we have chosen.

    I had a client a few weeks back and her name was Arja (pronounced Aria) and I just loved it!

    I like having a 'grown up' name and a nickname, then they can choose.
