I like the sp. Evyn or Evin for a girl. Obviously, there is less ambiguity with Evan, but when people see it written down, they will likely assume that Evan is a boy (and that may get annoying after a while!).

Yes I suppose . but that can be the case for a lot of names...like Alex, Jamie, Toni, Sam etc
