    Question WDYT of Atalie ??

    Hi all,

I met someone last night at a birthday dinner who's newborn niece's name is Atalie (pronounced like Natalie without the ' N ')

Thought i'd put the name out there if any of you may not heard of Atalie before like me & might be interested to use it for your Bubba

I don't mind the name, sounds pretty to me but i'd be concerned it will be miss heard when said out loud & people will think they heard Natalie.

(i know what i'm talking about as i spent a life time of so many people thinking they heard Narelle when my name is Lorelle )

... So, i'm just curious ... What do you think of this name ??

    Its.. interesting.

I thought it was pronounced R-TAR-LEE before I read the Natalie part and yes, I agree I think it'd be one that would be misheard a lot.

I don't mind it, but its not really one I'd use personally.

Yeah, I thought Ah-tahlie - like Atari but with an L instead of an R! And I didn't mind it with that pronouncation but atali (like natalie without the N) is a bit masculine sounding I think....
