I know a little boy names after Taj Burrows (the surfer).

hmmm yeah even though he's gorgeous, I'm still not a fan of the name. It sounds Indian and this little boy - well isn't, so it's kinda odd.

We have two Taj's (said Taj not Tie) and they are both lovely so the name has grown on me. Neither of them has ever been teased about the Taj Mahal or any other teasing either.

I really like it It's mine and DH's second fav boys name. it's a cool name and I don't think he would get teased. (sorry to disagree with you rumpledelf) but my aunty is a teachers aid and as she says, so many kids have "different" names these days that name teasing a really a thing of the past

I haven't heard a kid teased about their name by other children my whole teaching career TBH.
