I have a Thelma Emily (paternal) and a Cornelia (maternal). She had no middle name (I guess being the youngest of 14 children her parents ran out of ideas!) but most people knew her as Cora.

Funnily enough - my mother insisted that I not use any of my grandmothers names, nor any of her names if I had a girl. Mum's middle name is Petronella. There are some beautiful names in my mother's family - they migrated from Holland in the late 50s. But with being "foreign" in Australia in the early 60s, those beautiful and unusual names were a source of a lot of teasing so most of my aunts really dislike their names now.

Both my nana and her mum are/were Amy (which is why Amy is DD1s middle name, to match DS' middle name Walter which is my great grandfathers name). Nana goes by June though as she hates the name Amy.
My dads mum is Rosemary (I think?)
