    my FIL informed me after DS2 was born that there was a famous Actor in America called Tyrone (with our last name) so our DS is Tyron not Tyrone but just about the same....he is the only person who has ever picked up on that, i have since seen things on the actor but its never bothered us

    Trillian, we had the FastDNA test done a couple of weeks ago after my poor blood results at 12 weeks. Once that came back ok we decided that we didn't want any more surprises. So we are having a boy.

    I was just on the "Share your Facebook details" thread and MontyP has his surname on there, so I know which comedian you're talking about. He's very funny,

    I think it's a lovely name, and I don't think people will even notice that it's the same as a comedian - it's a "normal" name, not something people will say "oh, you named him after the famous comedian."

    The first name is also on my list. I like it a lot.

    Ok, worked it out...I don't think it will be a problem, most especially if you use the long form of the first name. Let the family chortle all they want, he seems like a good bloke. You could definitely do worse.
