Is this for a boy? I have heard it before for a boy and think it sounds nice, if maybe a little bit girly.

i know two kyans, ones a five yr old little turd of a kid, very spoilt chubby one.
and the other is and absolutely gorgeous 25yr old guy with long blonde hair a devils smile and blue eyes, he's a very spiritual person and i love him to bits.
i think its a great name

Kai is Hawaiian so it would not surprise me if Kyan is too. Its also easy to spell (looks as it sounds) with not too many letters - which I think is preferable for boys!
