There is a new sport Ergo out too, with thinner material that breathes better and longer straps so tall husbands (like mine at 6 foot 7) can fit into it too.
The Ergo is a great toddler carrier, but not all people find it comfortable, so try it first if you can. I have narrow shoulders and a small build and found that other SSCs (soft structured carriers) suit me better. Ergos have some great features for travelling though - the pocket is large enough to fit a wallet, phone and keys in it, and it is quick and easy to put on. But they are quite bulky and don't fit easily into a nappy bag if you want to take it off and carry it around whilst you are out. If you are considering a mei-tai, the Kozy is a great toddler mei-tai.
If you enjoy using a HAB, what about a good woven wrap? A Storchenwiege is a great wrap for toddlers as it is very supportive. Google baby-carriers-downunder and check out their instock list, I believe they have some Storchenwiege and Vatanai wraps instock (vats are great summer or northern climate wraps as they are airier and lighter than a storchenwiege, but they are still very supportive). They are not as quick to get on and off as a SSC (if you've already had lots of practice with a HAB then this won't be as much of an issue for you), although you can pre-tie a wrap and leave it tied, they are more versatile in terms of carrying options, fold up small, wash and dry quickly and can be used as an impromptu baby blanket or picnic rug.
