    The dangers are with bag slings, the makers of which should be drawn and quatered IMHO.

    As long as your sling is of a safe type you can just let people know, say that the slings that are dangerous are of a specific type, different to what you use, and you've done your research and always take appropriate care when using it anyway.

    I've made a point of demonstrating to everyone that's approached me, how I use it and how safe it is. With the exception of the lady that approached DP everyone's seemed to understand why we use it.

    Big thanks to Kitt3n who sent me a great link to a safe babywearing sight! Printing out the info for DP...lol he needs printed instructions sometimes
