Teni - many women find crossing the straps at the front uncomfortable due to boobs. If it's comfy for you and she's still secure, then I don't see why you can't do it that way. Where are you tying the straps?

sloane - i found the CC very uncomfortable. It doesn't fit everyone right - all structured carriers have this problem, in that they will only fit a certain range of sizes and shapes. Where is the X on your back - right down low or up fairly high? Where is she - up at 'kissable' height? Sometimes it's just a matter of adjusting things slightly to get the best fit. Does she feel a bit saggy/not quite secure?

i think the X may have been a little high up on my back. her head was kind of just below kissable (if that makes sense!!). she felt really secure - i think i was just being a bit of a newbie at baby wearing! i'll have to have a play around - i'm guessing that perhaps the X should have been a bit lower?

I was told the X should be low down, yep. And her head should be kissable - if she's lower, you may find you get back strain.
Yeah, play around a bit - hopefully you'll find the sweet spot. It was too big for me to adjust properly.

Teni- so you crossed front & back then?
