I haven't been before, but I'm probably going along tomorrow, sahbear.
Manducca can do a couple of things that the Ergo cannot (or at least the older Ergos couldn't do - cross over straps at the back for one), but the two have similar structure. Manducca was apparently designed by someone originally from Ergo.
I'd try both and see which you prefer - the meet might be a good opportunity.
Wheee, just picked up a second hand girasol ring sling Though I've started getting the "another carrier? Haven't you got enough?" already from DH. I've only got 4 now, and one of those I hardly use because it's uncomfortable.
Had fun today wandering through the Freo Markets with DS in the ergo. Must say, the ergo backpack is so handy, comfortable to wear either with the backpack straps or hooked onto the carrier straps and so roomy - I can fit loads into it.
