Yep, the shorter one. I would start with the ruck, as it's quite straight-forward. Get a handle on one carry, then move on to others. Double hammock is a great carry, but sliding the passes round the back can be tricky for some - it partly depends on the bendiness of your arms () and the wrap itself.

My Ergo is still MIA, but i have found a few other things in my searching for it. ON the positive, i have worked out how to use the mei tie and it is actually quite comfy. I have had 2 old style NMA mei ties for a loooong time, but never really liked them (because i wasn't tying them properly). i think i might add a little length to the straps, and then it will be great as a spare carrier. they fold up to very little space too.

mmm, might even make a couple if i can find some funky material.

I KNEW i shouldnt have come into this thread!! Ive been browsing & i am really liking the beco. Does anyone have a gemini one?

Took dd to the footy in the CC. She pretty much slept for the whole game, just woke for a feed at half time. Quite a few people wanted to talk to me about the carrier & they all thought it was awesome. It was so much easier than a pram - esp as we went on the train & there were around 86,000 people!

    Love all the photos

I don't have the Gemini, I have the Butterfly 2 though - I love it. Love it love it love it. Really easy to use and so comfortable - I've done a full day's zoo trip with my boofy bub and not been sore at the end. And now that I've got the hang of getting him on and off of my back it's even better.

Nawwwww cute, LnD! DD2 is always worn at church and I get lots of comments. Also means I don't have to leave the service if she's fussy because a quick stroll up the side settles her down. Everyone thinks she's quiet, but really, she's just happy in a FWCC.

Well if I'm going to be up at 3am when both my babies are sleeping, I may as well see if I can post a pic.

I love the look on DD2's face. It says "Hehe, check me out."

    Love the pic!

Have successfully convinced a friend of mine (bjorn user) to try my SSC(s) and she's now trying to convince her husband they want to buy a beco. And she's coming to a meet up this week to check out a couple of other options

Does anyone else find they get the irrits with well meaning people who try to help you get bub in and out, especially with a back carry? My lovely husband warned a friend off when I was shifting DS onto my back saying "yeah it looks as awkward as heck but she knows exactly what she's doing"

Ppl do sometimes ask but I can get it done pretty quickly so I'm more likely to get admiring comments now.

Great pic TC! My m/w posted a photo on FB with DD on my back in a beanie she made her. Must put it here.

Well, my ergo is sold Now to sell the breeze baby and then I will be looking at a kleinsmekker MT that I'm thinking about buying tomorrow. DH has said I'm allowed to have 4 carriers not including "his" beco. I think he might be worried I'll take over the house if I start wrapping - but one of the girls borrowed DS for a demo-baby and he loved being snuggled up in there, so I'm thinking of giving it a go.

Mmmm, guessing so - I'll be a little late though, chiro appointment first thing. Need to fix my back that's constantly being dodgyfied by Mister's bad booby manners
