I've owned a few, sure. They're all so different it's not possible to say categorically that I like didymos. I mean, I've liked the ones I've had to greater or lesser extent.

I got DD on my back for the first time today =) we tried a ruck (and I finally understand why people want shorter carriers) and a double hammock. She cried through out though, unless I was actually walking (rather than just moving, I had to be walking) she will get use to it thought right, I figure if i just keep at it and do it for a little bit of time each day etc.. she will get to know it and feel safe etc. I'm think I did pretty good jobs of it. I did take photos...they are in my baby wearing album

well done! The pics are a bit hard to see, but it looks good. How does it feel? You definitely need a shorter wrap for a ruck. You might find that as you get better at wrapping that you can do both carries in a 4... (so long as the wrap is fairly thin).

Sometimes they do hate the actual wrapping part, but are fine once you're moving. My DD is like that.
Soemtimes they hate being wrapped. It depends on them, you know?

Woohoo T! 4 is probably my ideal size as I can just DH in it but it's not too long for some of the shorter carries like ruck and whatever the front version of the same is called.

How are you getting her up, T? Maybe she's complaining about getting there and the wrapping itself?

Mrs S pretty is good! I have two Didys atm, one is Eisblau, which is a silk, cotton blend, and one is the butterfly one, which is 100% cotton. Both are quite light, thin to wrap with. I had another Didy cotton that wasn't quite as thin, but somewhat softer to wear. It just depends on the wrap, how broken in it is and the fabric. Cotton can also grip differently from wrap to wrap. Looking forward to photos!

I am impatiently waiting for my Natibaby to arrive. I hope it's as good to wear as it looks!

madb ~ yea, FX she does get use to it, I think once she is up and we get moving she will be fine, which makes me think she will get use to it. I did find my 6 too long for the ruck, as a result it felt weird over the shoulders cause of too much material I think.

Jen ~ I can get her up under my arm with someone helping me, or i can get her over my shoulder by myself. it could be getting her up there, I think she is just unsure atm what I'm doing =P

Carrier look good TT. I've been really struggling with getting ds on my back as he wiggles so much and even tries to roll off my back sometimes.

I'm loving the feel of the Gira once on and I love the way it looks but I'm feeling like its just too much fabric. Im trying to decide if I should chop it, sell it and buy a shorter one or convert it. Leaning towards conversions as I'm in love with my Obi mt ,but its a short stage 1 featherweight so will probably only get another 6 months out of it. Decisions, decisions.

Totally in love with the colours. Feels good so far, but I'll give it a proper long wear another day.

I'd also love to find my Mei Tai, I used it for about a week before it went missing

Lol, teni! I could spend hours online looking at things I can't have!

Though, I'm getting my gira converted! I'm so excited! It's going to look and feel beautiful. Now to sell my Obi to pay for it. Not so happy about that though!

    Pretty wrap Jennifer!

Hi ladies, haven't been here in a while. Finally mastered a ruck with my Zara (thanks again Sterla!) and have been taking DD everywhere on my back.

    She. Loves. It!

We got so many compliments at the shops today, lots of people stopped to ask about wrapping and commented on how comfy DD looked.

Am keen to try with something thinner and shorter next - have my eye on an EllaRoo. Plus Babyhawk mei tai is due to arrive in a few days.

I blame you (happily) for my new addiction!

Older ppl seem the most fascinated by DD2 wrapped on my back. Although that could just be the fact I live where there are a lot of older ppl.

I swear I get more friendly questions while I'm wearing the Natibaby than I have with any other. Maybe red is an inviting colour.

I even accessorised today to match it.

Off to a bwing meet tomorrow. Bet you can't guess what I'll be taking.

Ummmm, would it be red maybe?

I am lusting so hard for the new Natibaby Night Afryka. Hoping I can snag one...
