    Love it TT!

BAL - Are the Maya ones padded? I haven't tried one but have heard that the padding can make it more difficult to adjust. Go with what you like. I love my WCRSS.

so since getting (and showing off) my wchb, i have had a few comments about how it is wrong of me to use DD as a fashion accessory! now i am and have never been into fashion at all! but seriously bw has so many benefits for her and me so why should i get a carrier that not only is really comfy but that looks awesome too! grrrr makes me angry cause i know we look awesome but that is a good thing jerks!

if they have kids, they'd better be sure to dress them in hessian sacks, then.

That just made me so mad!!!! Baby wearing is as old as having babies, for bonding and convenience how do these people think woman coped before over priced over accessorized prams were invented lol seriously!!! I saw your link to a pic of you wearing her and you both looked happy and that's what is important. Bonus if you also look cute and cool!

TT, just brush it off if you already haven't because they're just twats. (Am I allowed to say twats?) Haters gone' hate

Reorganised my carriers last night. They're now in a plastic set of drawers/tubs next to the front door, in descending order of how often I'm using them lately My La Pouche a Kangourou and/or seledang should be arriving today, hurry up Mr Postie!

Yea I'm over it Teni =) In fact I've decided to take it as a compliment and am now strutting my stuff! we were at the markets yesterday, and I got myself a pair of arm warmers, something I have wanted for ages but could never find any (I dont even know if I just made them up years ago when I started looking). anyway, so I put them on and i'm rocking DD and my arm warmers and DH laughs and goes "you look like such a dag with those" and I go, " yea? But an AWESOME! dag" =) They are all just jealous!

how many do you have Teni? enough that they are in tubs?!?! I cant call myself a true BW...with my 1xWCHB, 1xWoven, (the only 2 I use, and I havent used my wrap wince my HB came), and then a RS and 2 stretchies that I NEVER use.

Thats true Joeve ~ plus people see how much a woven is and how much it cost for my HB and go "wow its nice to have heaps of money", well I dont, but prams cost that if not more if I was to get a pram with features. I just chose to spend my money on a carrier instead of a pram.

Okay, as it stands at the moment, I have:
    - Two wovens
    - One seledang - is that counted as a woven? I really have no idea what they are. And is it seledang or selendang?
    - One Manduca
    - Two ring slings
    - Two Hug A Bubs
And an Ergo that's being sent off sometime this week that I already regret putting on eBay in the first place

ETA - Yaaay, my LPaK and seledang are here!! Oh so pretty Pics coming soon when Amelia finishes her nap

Okay, I've no idea how to use this selendang (looked it up lol)
I have her tied on my back but I just know she's going to be able to fall out easily

It looks exactly like one of my ring slings! Only it's purple instead of blue.

What kind of carry are you doing with the selendang? I've never used one, but they're basically just thin shorties, no?

I have 6 wraps, 2 mei tais and an ergo. Hardly anything!

I tied her on my back. I don't think there's any proper name for it It was literally just around her, and tied on top of my boobs Very uncomfortable after a few minutes, lucky we were just waking down the road.

ah. rudimentary torso carry, I guess?
you could try a rebozo - so over one shoulder, under the other.

Oooh, my Afryka is here! Well, it's in the state, I need to go collect it on Thursday at the next meet

So that makes 4 wraps, a mt, a fb and a rs. I might buy one more wrap as I've decided I want a 7 and am thinking about selling DH's beco to buy him an ssc with solarveil

I was going for that initially, but couldn't work it out I'll learn, I just need to find some decent tutes
