My rainbow is in the mail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So CAN"T WAIT for it's arrival

ETA: I just stalked the tracking number and it says "Accepted from customer" WTF?
Just means it's been posted. If it said "delivered" then there'd be a WTF moment.

I hear you on being clucky Teni - I'm majorly clucky as well, have been for a while. So much so my body is playing tricks on me and making me think I might be but the sticks are still coming up negative. Bah.

Sigh. Waiting sucks. I want my Afryka!

DS has only the rare chuck now (and shouldn't mess your beautiful wraps), so you are welcome to borrow him to practise in case you get quads.

Okay, I am waaaaaaay too clucky right now. I wanted to practise some carries, but Amelia was asleep so I used my Cabbage Patch Doll again... And ended up looking for newborn-friendly carries. Some I can use with her, like the FWCC (look, my first carry abbreviation!), but it's just left me wanting #3 to come right NOW! Anyone have a newbie I can borrow?

Have mine too teni although he's 6 months now so not quite newborn. Hope Amelia is feeling better.

Madb, I've been trying with a linen blend and I think thats my problem. A little to thick and crunchy to learn with? I got fluffy mail yesterday (see below) completely broken in and soft hemp lilies. I did manage a dh although it was still a little floppy, I do think I'll be able to get it with a little practice.

Yay, now with two almost-newbies I can practise tandem carries - and I can rotate the newbs out if I want to throw Amelia in! You guys rule

Nicnac - try searching for Kanga Collective or The Babywearer. Both sites have forums with heaps of info.

Gorgeous BAL! And Jett seems very happy with it too.

Yesterday I was walking with DD2 on my back when I felt her turn her head and then it sounded like i'd dropped something. I turned around to see a puddle on the ground Seems DD has learned to chuck to the side so neither of us gets covered

That is awesome TC, DS turns towards me to chuck, today he opened my cardy and then chucked so it hit my singlet and the inside of my cardy. noice.

    Lovely BAL!

I haven't had much back spew thankfully. I do seem to get cleavage spew every time I front carry though.

This DH is driving me mad! No matter how tight I pull it when wrapping, the top chest rail always ends up loose and then I get pressure on my shoulders.. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong as it seems tight when I'm doing it.

how are you tightening Loulabelle? I find pixie curl's tute really helpful - she tightens across the rail and then does the L Pull.... there's another one where another wrapper shows how to keep it tight from the start, but that look harder to me

Waaahhhhhh, DH accidentally took "Snowy" to work with him and now I can't go for a walk like I want to!

(...Or, I can just use the Ergo. Or one of the ring slings. Or a stroller...)

HotI - Noice one DS. Pity he can't use his cleverness to be kind to his mama.

Teni - Oh no. None of your other options could possibly compare to snowy.

TT - Yay, will have to jump on and check the pics out. ETA: That is amazing! Can't wait to see an action shot.

Loulabelle - I couldn't get DH until I saw the L-pull. It's the tightening while standing up that does the trick. If I try to tighten the chest pass while bending over it will never be as tight as I can get it while upright.
