Baby Wearing General Chatter #3
I have a Nati, silk blend, and it is thicker than my SN linen and my JJ, but it's also softer ITMS. They're all size 4s.
I have an Ellevill bamboo blend, thin and soft, but not as supportive. My best hot weather wrap is my Oscha linen, but it is taking a lot of breaking in. Love a back carry RUB with it for the hot summer days though, hardly know it's there! It's a 2.
My Diva Milano is also very light and thin, but I have it in a size 6 and I prefer my shorter wraps now. If I had it in a 2 or 3 though, it would rival the Oscha.

I have *ahem* a 'couple' of natibaby wraps. I love the designs and the way they wrap, but they are all very much on the thicker side of the wrap world. I have linen/cotton, Bamboo/cotton, silk/cotton and plain cotton. My bamboo /cotton is by fare the thinnest. One of my silks is reasonably thin, but the other silk is very thick - thickest of my natibaby wraps.
For summer, DM is probably the lightest. Coolest, yet most supportive ETF wrap - but they are a bit on the $$$ side.
Otherwise my 100% cotton Indio or my labyrinth are my go to hot weather wraps.
Oscha julliet ladybugs would be a good thin supportive wrap for summer (but mine hasn't even been worn yet as it is a size 7 - way to long for the hot weather IMO).

Ive found the fibers in my natibaby silks have actually 'snapped' rather then pulled. :( beautiful to wrap with though, I'm just prone to getting my (horribly unmanicured) nails caught on everything - doesn't matter what blend it is - usually whatever is most expensive!

Yay, CK!! What a great way to bring in 2013.
I would go with bamboo/cotton for a newbie too. My Paisley was my fave for DD2 as a squishy.

Hi CK, I have a didymos Didytai in Aqua waves that in breaking in at the mo. It's softening up nicely and seems to breathe quite well.
For those of you in Melbourne there Is a baby wearing get together tomorrow (Wednesday 2/1) at the playground in Caulfield park at 12.00. I'm going along and would love to meet some more baby wearing BB members too. :-) PM me if you'd like more details.

I want a Didytai :(
Help me out ladies - I need to choose a pattern for a Didytai - do I go funky limited edition geckos in purple and turquoise? Or waves? Or one of the niño options?

What's a 241 option? What colour waves do you like the look of?
Might be worth having a feel or try of the wraps if possible to see which one feels good.
