    DD's unhappy in sling/carrier

I've tried a few times putting DD3 in an ergo and also a ring sling. I've tried a tummy to tummy carry as well as cradle carry but it all just seems to frustrate her. Am I doing something wrong do you think (hard one I know when you can't see), or does it just take some LOs to get used to them?

Dd2 never liked it, she would always get upset, I think it's because she always had a sore tummy she hated clothes too. Whereas dd1 and ds loved the sling.

Different bubs like different things, too.
My DD hated being wrapped as a baby, but loved the ergo. she still prefers arms out and legs swinging freely

do you have pics? you can post and we can see if there's any tweaking to do?

my ds isn't so keen after a feed, I think it hurts his tummy. Other times he is happier to be worn. Maybe try different times of the day too.

I found DD1 would only go in the sling outside or in a big shopping centre, never inside the house. I had to get her to sleep outside first.

Hmmm. So it could just be her not liking it.

MadB - will try and get some pics tomorrow and post them. I think one of my problems with the ring sling (sakura bloom) is that I can't get the top rung tight enough. Not sure if I've not threaded it through the rings properly, or if its because the silk gets stuck?

Astrid - I've only tried her out so far. At home she's pretty good at sleeping so I just put her in her swing or cot or hammock or mat (this kid has more beds than a 5 star hotel!!)

Buster went through a little stage where he seemed to hate the sling (I had a CC) and I remember feeling devastated because I really wanted to wear him! But as I said, it ended up being a stage and the next week I couldn't get him out of there
