Kitten - don't know much about the ellaroo MT, but I can tell you a bit about the Kozy. They are renowned as a supportive MT for older babies and toddlers (although they are still good for younguns) - they are tall, but also have quite a wide body and the shoulder strap angle is quite deep, meaning that they are better suited to those with broader shoulders. If you are of petite build you may find a CatBirdBaby MT a better fit. CatBirdBabys are a narrow angled carrier that is great for younger babies, but some find them less supportive for older babies/toddlers. From what I have read, BabyHawk fits into the niche somewhere between the two.
I personally didn't find a Kozy to be the most comfortable carrier for me - the body was too wide and consequently gaped (or the shoulder straps felt like they were going to slip). There is a fix to this, which is to twist the shoulder strap at the body junction, which narrows the body.
Those that love Kozys (and there are MANY that do), say that they are brilliantly supportive workhorse carriers.

Thankyou for the above info - now I was all set to go and purchase the Kozy .... but now I am not sure, I do have very narrow shoulders! Quite petite in the shoulders, hips and butt are a different story
With the catbirdbaby - do you mean the mei tai or the piccolo? I cant seem to find anyone in Australia who stocks the mei tai and the piccolo is very exxy - if I was 100% certain the piccolo was the way to go then its money well spent, but I am learning that slings/carriers might look and sound great, but its not till you have used them for at least half an hour that you can decide if they are right for you!
I have seen pics of the Kozy tied with that twist - was wondering why so thanks for that tip.

Where abouts do you live, as there is a group of people who chat on baby carriers down under and have regular sling meets so you could try a few out. I did this first. There are cat bird mei tai on ebay at the moment to.
Kitten - like sweetpea said - google baby carriers downunder and join the google group. They have a loaners database that has both a catbirdbaby mei tai and a Kozy in it, you could probably try both. They have an instock list and can sometimes order in certain things as well if what you are after is not on the instock list. The guy who started the group is in Brissie, and they have monthly sling meets there, but some of the members also organise meets from time to time in other states. But you don't need to go to the meets to utilise the loaner database.
ETA: I just saw your other question - I meant the catbirdbaby mei tai. The pikkolo is similar in shape/fit, being made by the same company, the main difference being that the pikkolo is a buckled carrier and the mei tai is... well, a mei tai LOL.
