I think I will get a pouch or ringsling too
Hi Salsa,
I don't think your daft. I have an ergo, bh, himmel, home made ring sling and another 2 home made ones lol.
...what do you use them all for? Do you think the BH will hopefully work well for a round home hands free option? Im not so sure it looks so good for putting on at the shopping mall? But I`d probably use the pram or buy a sling for that anyway.
well, i jumped in and bought an ellaroo from nursing angel ($105 on sale, over $140 everywhere else)
I am also bidding on ebay - maybe we are all bidding against each other??!!!
Not at all - they are entirely different kettles of fish.
I currently have two mei tais, two ring slings, two wraps and a SSC (although I'll probably sell the SSC soon because it hasn't been worn in ages, but it may get replaced with another), and they all get worn regularly and are useful for specific things.
suse - myou should start up a baby carrier test them out business with that stash!
LOL Kitten. My stash is paltry compared to some of the people on baby carriers downunder (which has a great loaner's database btw). I am a total novice compared to a lot of those guys.
Hi salsa,
yeh def great around the house as hands free. All of mine are hands free when put on properly. I use them all for similar things....just depends on mood, how long I am looking at wearing it, weather etc
suse but you are the queen of babywearing info here!

now there will be no turning back.
When I put bub in carrier most the time she has a nappy on and tshirt (clip between legs one). Otherwise to hot. Just think when bub gets older you can even do back carries and the freedom you get with that is excellent.....cooking, cleaning etc.
Yay for fluffy mail!
I usually just have DS in a nappy when carrying, but it's too hot for clothes anyway atm.
Don't know anyone who has used those wraps. Only one way to find out though! They look beautiful, but there's no way of telling how supportive they'd be without trying them. You could find out whether it's an airy or dense weave though, the denser the weave, the more supportive it generally will be. I'd be inclined to check the length and width before buying. Girasol is a wrap brand that also uses Guatemalan woven cottons which are purpose woven for babywearing.
Got a babyhawk in the mail today too - and got the baby to sleep in seconds!!! Which is such a relief, cause yesterday he only slept a total of about 3 hrs
Its very comfy.
I`m very happy.
