Angry HAB is driving me nuts

I got my HAB and im having difficulties making it tight..... like when i pull the pocket bit up its really loose. I purchased it off the HAB site and its like its to big....they have different sizes on there and i got the bigger size as DH is a big build...(as am i) and i thought it would fit great... but its silly.

Im thinking of selling it and buying a smaller one unless some one can help me out!!

Not having watched you put it on, and with the brief info you've given here, it sounds like you're not pulling it tight enough across the belly (in that initial wrap step). When you are at the stage where the two ends are crossed over your back and are draped over your front, the pocket part needs to be firm enough around your belly, not hanging loose anywhere When you've finished tying, there should be not loose bits, no matter what the size. I was using a loaned HAB with Oscar for many months, and it was the largest size available because my GF is larger and her DH very tall, and the only hassle I found was that there was a lot left over and I could even tie it around my waist another time!Hope that helps. Let us know how you go...

make sure the side parts don't start going upwards until they are at your back and not at your waist. That probably made no sense at all, but I know what I mean, LOL.

I think I get it, Natalie! You mean, don't start bringing the ends behind the back until the pocket part is nice and high across your belly? If so, I second that motion

Wish I could watch you do it so I could help! As you bring each end over the shoulder, pull up until the belly part is up against your ribcage and the pocket centred.
You have the video, but there is also a step by step pictorial on the website that might help.

Yup - just tie it super duper tight. I've actually found that if I'm not careful, there is slack in the bits that go around your waist after crossing over at the front. The material will always stretch to accomodate baby. But if you start out tying it really tight.. you'll get the feel of how tight you need it for the size of your bub.

I do find it annoying when tying that my top underneath rides up all the time. LOL. But you do get used to tying it!

It's surprising how tight you need to do it but it will ease up a bit once it warms up, like a pair of jeans IYKWIM.
Keep persisting with it. I live not too far from you and if you'd like some help with it we could have a catch up somewhere.
