I just did a search of this carrier and they look good. I get very sore shoulders & back, so this looks like it will be good for me. Do you just buy them online? Any recommendations on best place to get one from? Thanks.
The only tip I have is that it can get warm in very hot wearhet. I put a small towel or wrap on my chest to stop us both getting very sticky. That being said, this was in Darwin with 80% humidity.
I have a Hug a Bub (not the sling variety - the carrier one with a pocket on the front ) but am thinking about going to a close carrier as they look a bit easier to put on and wear?? Can someone please educate me on the other differences? I have to admit, I haven't looked much further yet that what I have mentioned...
I just had a quick look at the hug a bub website. From what I can see, the Close Baby Carrier is a 'pre-tied' version. So instead of tying it yourself the back is already joined and you just pop it on like a t-shirt. Then the rings at the side help tighten and loosen as needed. I bought a moby wrap that I had to tie myself, but found that a bit too hard. This one is great.
