Mei Tai & Woven Wrap recommendations (particularly brands) please?

DS recently turned one and with that came a massive desire to walk everywhere (complete with tantrums and refusing to hold a hand), unless he's in a carrier. I have an Ergo (borrowing) which is fine if I back carry but if I front carry it slips from my shoulder and no amount of adjustment seems to help. Been looking into both the woven wraps and Mei Tai and I am after recommendations for both types please. I like to back wear but I need something comfortable to slip on if it's a quick trip. He is about 11kg but I want to be able to carry him when he's bigger.
When he was a NB we liked the Sleepy Wrap (Boba) very much but they get very hot and he just doesn't seem as comfortable in it.
