I had a sleepy wrap, they're cheap and we loved it BUT it's hot, so I guess it depends on the weather. I also had a Hug a bub, but I rarely used it. there is the close carrier but like Audax mentioned you might only get another 4ish months tops from them (the stretchy wrap ones).
Ergos are the workhorse and bubs can also be put on your back, hip and front. and it has a wee little cover that you can clip up whne they fall asleep while you are out and about to protect from sunshine etc.
I also use a ringsling, but they do require a bit more attention as bubs can wriggle around in them quite a bit (but they are SUPER handy to have rolled up in the bottom of the pram or in your handbag for those "must-be-picked-up-RIGHT-NOW" moments
