    Question Ring Sling

    Hi all

I've recently started using a Breeze Baby ring sling and love it. I've previously used my ergo but it's been too hot and I love the way the ring sling can be moulded to fit the exact shape of my bub when carrying him. The thing I don't like about the Breeze Baby is that it's very bright! I'd prefer a nicer material and to be honest, a bit more fashionable piece. I do realise I sound ridiculous. Can anyone recommend me a brand? I think I want a ring sling as I can adjust it to fit my baby perfectly but would love to hear if there's another option I'm unaware of.

    Thanks in advance.

I have a Sakura Bloom sling. It's linen cos it's a million degrees here for much of the year.. I got the plain one so DH would wear it too but they come in ones with beautiful silk edging.

The Sakura Blooms are stunning fabric, and the linen and double layer linen are beutifuly supportive, the wide shoulder style does not work for everyone though. I think the Maya Wrap RS is great, the cotton softens up and dream and the pocket is great.

Bad news I love the ellaroo with my toddler but with my baby, it doesn't work for me. The padding on the rails is too thick to pul through the rings easily and as I'm smaller, I need to pull quite a bit of padding through. I am so incredibly diss appointed as otherwise I love it. I guess I'll on sell it as I'm keen to get a rs that works for now.

Do any of the other ones you guys mentioned have padding? I'll need to avoid them.

Hugabubs don't have railings - I had a Bubba Moe that Milly and I both hated for that exact reason. The straps and everything were just too fiddly for me.

    Too bad!

I'd suggest the Sakura or Maya - think they'd be better. I've heard the HAB one is ok, but others better. The bubba moe is a pouch sling, I think, with rings for minimal adjustment.

I should add I don't personally have a ring sling, just goign by why I've heard. I do have a short wrap I've threaded through rings to use as a ring sling, but that's a bit different.

hope you find the right thing for you!

As mad B said neither the Maya or Sakura have padding, however if you are on the Petite side maybe the Maya as it come in 2 lengths, so you wont be so swamped in fabric if you pick the shorter one.
