Sling for quick trips

Thanks for the tips, I had a look at the bubazilla pics and also had a go with a friends pouch type sling and it won't work for DD because of the brace. Really what I need is one like the hugabub so an upright carry but just quicker to put on than the hugabub and one that is practical in carparks etc (hugabub material gets dragged all over the floor).

Is the close carrier quicker/easier than the hugabub?

maybe a bucklye tai, ie like a mai tai but has buckles so wont drag on ground. What sort of brace is dd in, if her legs a spread you might be able to thread it inbetween the brace and her bottom.

The close carrier is meant to be easier than the HAB But I haven't used either.

I've got a close carrier - and I'm in loovvee! Really easy to get bubs in & out and easy to figure out how to put on. Got it the other morning just as we were about to go car shopping, looked at the instruction book in the car while driving to the first car yard, got out there and put bubs straight in, no dramas and without any hassles. I'm now using it all the time (well nearly) when I go out in my car and when I don't need to take the pram for other reasons. If I'm going to carry DS in the sling, I wear it while driving to shops/church etc and have it ready to go when I get out, then I don't have to worry about where it is. The ties at the side don't hang down past my knees so I don't have to worry about material on the ground either.

I use a Bubasling for quick trips, still use it now with my 9.5kg almost 14month old DD
SOOO quick and easy, once you have it adjusted to the right setting for you just grab and go, also great for having bubs on the hip when older

Maybe see if you can try a ring sling and with her brace hold dd in the hip carry or against you. Its super quick to put on and adjust to suit. I love my ring sling for quick trips
