    Baby carrier for toddler

Am about to embark on a holiday and being a cheap skate I'm not paying to take my pram on the plane. I use a HAB an ring sling at the moment but find that I can only last an hour or so before I need to take a break.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for a carrier that I can use with my 13 month old that will be comfortable for a couple of hours sight seeing? I was thinking the back carry might be easier as he's a long bub and not that light.

    Thanks

I love my ergo and we also had a backpack carrier when DS was little and we went hiking/bushwalking. The Ergo folds small enough to pack in the nappy bag and bub can sleep in there. easy to swap from front to back to side carry (OK side carry is a little more complicated) backpack was aliminum frame so more bulky but bub could sit in it when it wasn't on our back so great for cafe's and eating on the go.

I would second the ego, I love mine and back carriers are great. Or even a mai tai as you can back carry in them to.

Definately the ergo. I have one and love it. I carry both my DS and DD in it. When we recently went to Adelaide, I carried DD (22mths at the time) in it from the train station to the airport. She loved the novalty of it and she also fell asleep in it.
