Mine was a chucker but oddly like the others didn't much in the sling. I'd just put a bib on and hope that caught most of it.

I wore DD in a close carrier a lot and she was a happy chucker until around 6 months. I would generally put a folded muslin between me and her to catch anything so my clothes didn't end up covered, but sometimes there were some doozies! Just had to make sure it was pulled taut so it didn't bunch up and get in her face in any way.
