Would a black HAB be too hot?

    Hello people!

I'm all excited as I won a great item on ebay which includes a Hug a bub, my problem is I get to choose the colour & I'd choose black 'cept that Bubble will be born xmas/early Jan, so it's going to be HOT, does anyone have a black one - is it indeed too hot??

It's either black or navy with the berry patch... I don't know!! Please help me choose though so that I can pay & get my goodies lol!

I have black and never really found it a prob. I think any colour would be hot in hot weather. Black was great cause it went with anything

I can't remember what they're called but there is a group of peoples who live in the deserts of northern africa who only wear black turbans and robes. I read a study recently which indicated in fact black fabric doesn't allow more heat through than any other colour. There is a reason for you feeling heat faster through black (which i can't remember) but in terms of accumulated heat it makes no difference.

I have a sage green HAB and I find it too hot to use in summer anyway - but I'm in Brisvegas so it gets pretty feral up here in Jan/Feb.
They cover quite a bit of you in terms of fabric so if it's too hot for a black one, it'll probably too hot for one at all iykwim.

Alrighty then - spanks people, I'll get black - atleast if it's black I might be able to persuade DP to have a go, no chance with a berry (aka pink lol) patch!

I have black, and we do get hot, but I don't think it's the colour that makes you hot. I think it's the fact your sharing someone's body heat. from my experience I would suggest just wearing a nice cotton singlet underneath in summer and dress bubs lightly too.
