Pelaja, I'm wondering if it could be related to dropping the milk down. Tom is 11 months and still has more drinks of milk than that a day, and I know we didn't drop Jack down until about 15 months, but that was probably too late. If you are unsure, perhaps increase the milk again just to see what happens. If it makes no difference, then it could be just one of those age related phases. But if it helps, then you will know why and maybe you can try to drop the milk down again in another month or so.
If it is just a phase, it should pass. Jack has gone through these phases a few times in 2 1/2 years, but they never last long. We try to be creative with this bedtime routine so that if something isn't working, we adjust it. So we might read an extra story, or read the story lying down instead of sitting on the end of his bed etc. The pretend magical sleep spray on his pillow is working well atm.
