Yep I thought it happened closer to 2 as well. Nope not in this household! DD started around the same time, and has the most hilarious crying/tantrum face, and she even peeks out one eye to see if you're watching! We tend to ignore it if we have been watching enough to know it is a tanty and not a bump/hurt etc and she stops quite quickly. Or I'll just engage her in something else and she stops quickly then too. Cheeky little monkeys
I have 2 DDs who were very tantrumly advanced and also started at 11m. Fortunately I think the earlier they start, the earlier they stop as DD2 has just turned 2 and is really starting to wind it down on the tantrum front. She seems to have fewer than other kids her age now.
Totally normal hun! The toddler age hits rather suddenly, doesn't it?? I was not ready for a toddler at that age either, I had just got a handle on the baby thing!
