Given they are 'usual' side effects, I would keep a close eye on her & if her temp doesn't go down later today, I'd take her in.

I would suggest Panadol and keep an eye on her but if you are worried I suggest getting her checked out.

Fever and sleepiness is a common side effect from vaacines.

She's better. Not as hot and is her usual bubbly self. This happened yesterday though and she went downhill at around 4pm. But she's having a nap just now so will see what she's like when she wakes.

Hey hun,

I know this might be completely different cos she has just had her needles but thought i would post anyways. Our DD (same age) recently had something very very similar with high temps that i couldn't get down. She was her normal bubbly self during the day but come night would be a mess. Eventually took her to the doctor (who took one look at her and was like shes not sick - she was climbing all over her!) and found out she had tonsillitis. Not saying she is sick in any other way than a reaction to the vaccine but i guess it doesn't hurt to get them checked out in case it's something else...Hope bubba is feeling better

DD was fine last night, no temps or anything, so I am hoping that she's over it. I will keep observing though.
