Oh, the whole thing sounds like just too much FUN - the spinny carousel, the little boxes, the pretty DVDs, the paper to rip and most of all it get's mummy attention every single time she is doing something 'boring' like reading or on the puter! LOL Big temptation there

If that was my house I'd try removing the carousel to a different spot (up on a shelf) or behind a closed door. That way you still get ease of access without the ongoing stress. Then you can reintroduce it into the loungeroom again in a few months once he's got past his DVD obsession!
