Minny..... Our DS1 started doing this when DS2 was born so we took all toys out of his room.....he couldn't reach the light switch but would turn his lamp on so we took his lamp out of his room. He stopped it within 2 nights.
Tho, we moved Aus Day weekend and he started doing again here at the new place for no reason but has stopped it now.....we just ignore him when he does it and don't acknowledge it and it worked and he has stopped it now.
I second that, if she cannot put on the light she may just sleep. If she does try to wreck things then I would remove anything she is trashing, even if it means she only has a bed in her room. At 2 she is old enough to realise what is happening and why I would think.
LOL why didnt i think of taking the light globe out! She was playing up a bit since seb came home but she seems to have settled back in now. I expected she would and she hasnt been to bad which is good.
I took the light globe out and she wasnt impressed...and proceeded to turn the hallway light on to see so took that out as well. Seems to have worked
