yup my nearly 4 yr old was like that.. It has only been in the last 2 months he will talk to strangers. or even warm up to family quickly..

He is so hypo at home but if anyone else spoke to him he would hide behind us. Sometimes he wouldn't even get out of the car if we went to someones place
