I hear you hon. We've had a rough weekend with DD too - damn tonsillitis!

BUT, for your DD...

Fever + rigours + nil wee + nil intake + vomiting + lethargy = hospital ED. Don't panic, you've got time since she still has moist membranes, but I'd be getting her checked out. But I'd call whomever you need to get that car back quicker.

I'd be disinclined to strip her off because of the rigours. If she is telling you she's cold, I'd not wanting to cool her down as the shivering will spike her temp further. Instead, try to wash her face, arm pits, back of neck with a cool flannel (not cold).

Keep pushing the fluids even if she brings them back up - some of it must be getting in

Have you got panadol supps at home? They work better than oral AND don't rely on her being able to keep them down

Do you know WHY she is feeling like this? Has she got an infection? Been exposed to gastro recently? If it's infection, they might need to consider IV AB's.
