this must be really hard, epspecially after getting sleep for so long.
there is hope - and im sure she will go back to 12hrs a night soon, my cousin has an 8 month old bub who did a similar thing up 2-3-4 times a night, now in the last few weeks it has settled back and he is back to his happy 12hr stints that he was doing before 5/6months when teeth started to get really bad...
i hope it doesnt last long.
Have you tried bonjella, or panadol to help ease the pain, it may get her to sleep that little bit longer?
My 12 mth old just started doing this recently as well. He usually would wake up for a nappy change and then just go straight back to sleep. But lately we were getting the 3am scream fest happening which would end in me bringing him into my bed.
I thought it was his teeth that are pushing through ATM but then I figured out he was cold as well and thats why he wasnt settling. (Damn melbourne weather).
I would give the bonjella or it's equivalent a go and then make sure she is warm enough and if that dosen't work try the panadol.
Hope she sorts herself out soon for you as there is nothing worse than going back to the sleepless nights.
Thanks girls for you advice and sympathy!! It's still happening but knd of getting used to it - kind of!! She is happy during the day so that'[s good. WE have stated giving her neurofen and she has some medicated teething gel that she actually likes. I never knew about b/milk having 2 hr pain relief - that makes me feel better about feeding her so often! Fingers crossed it passes - they're nearly through. Well one is out and the other is close!
