    It's hard work, but entirely normal for babies and young children to need their mums to sleep. It will pass with time. If sleeping together helps, is that an option for the time being? Personally, I just do whatever works best and results in the most amount of rest all round.
    And no, you didn't 'create' this; he's just an ordinary human baby By meeting his needs, you will get through this sooner, and with a happier baby *in the long run* than by trying to work against biology.

    yes co sleeping is what we are doing and i dont mind.. still co sleep with my 4 year old, but ds and i are in dds bed and dd is in my bed..
    i guess i was checking if its normal.. dd never did this, and i didnt bf her past 4 months so didnt know if bfing was creating this habit esp since hes not actually eating just suckling for comfort i guess..

    Nah, people say that but they have cause and effect mixed up (and always like to *blame* mum). He wakes so he breastfeeds to go back to sleep. Totally understandable.
    Look after yourself. It is a really hard time when they do this. It will pass though, I promise.

    yes it is tough.. dances on the ol' patience level.. but knowing it will pass makes it a little easier.
