Mine did that too, very early on. We worked through it by me disappearing to have a shower at bedtime and she learned to go to sleep with DH. Except then she wouldn't go to sleep with me, so I felt rejected!!!! It took time, but we did end up being able to hand her to DH without her screaming. Good luck!
