Just saw this thread now. My DD also became more clingy to me around the age of 2 months. I remember her crying with DH and anyone else who tried to hold her. It was a hard time with DH feeling rejected and other people getting upset and not being understanding. It did last a very long time with my DD too. And even now at 2 years old she's still very attached to me and will choose me over DH. She's also very cautious with new people. But over time she has become comfortable with people she sees regularly.
